President Kiir holds bilateral talks with his Ugandan counterpart
KAMPALA, 20th January 2024- President Salva Kiir Mayardit and his Ugandan counterpart Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Saturday, discussed bilateral ties, as well as regional and global issues.
The two leaders met on the sidelines of the ongoing 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in Kampala, Uganda.
During the meeting, President Kiir congratulated Museveni on his election as the Chairman of NAM, saying South Sudan remains committed to strengthening cooperation with Uganda in various fields.
The two leaders further agreed to work together on issues of common interest for their people.
