Traffic Police Ban Tinted Vehicles, Right-Hand Drive Cars and Left-Side Sliding Door Public Transport

The Director General of Traffic Police, Maj. Gen. Kon John Akot, has issued new traffic directives banning the use of tinted vehicles, right-hand drive cars, and public transport vehicles fitted with sliding doors on the left side.

According to the directive, the ban takes immediate effect from today, the date of its signature. All motorists and public transport operators are required to comply without delay.

Traffic police have been instructed to enforce the new regulations as part of efforts to improve road safety and ensure compliance with national traffic laws. Failure to adhere to the directive may result in legal action.

Further details on enforcement measures are expected to be communicated by the Traffic Police headquarters.
