The Honorable Monday Semaya K. Kumba, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a productive meeting with H.E. Michael J. Adler, the Ambassador of the United States to South Sudan, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Juba.

The meeting focused on strengthening the long-standing bilateral relations between South Sudan and the United States. Key areas of discussion included enhancing diplomatic cooperation, promoting peace and stability in the region, supporting democratic governance, and exploring avenues for economic development and investment.

Minister Kumba expressed appreciation for the United States’ continued support in South Sudan’s peace process and institution-building efforts. Ambassador Adler reaffirmed his country’s commitment to fostering a peaceful, democratic, and prosperous South Sudan.

Both parties agreed on the importance of ongoing dialogue, mutual respect, and collaboration to address regional challenges and promote shared interests. The meeting concluded with a shared optimism for deeper engagement and partnership between the two nations in the years ahead.
