Meet Joel Dominic: The 16-Year-Old Student Dreaming of Becoming a Doctor JUBA, South Sudan — At just 16 years old, Joel Dominic, a bright and determined Senior Two student at Juba Day Secondary School, is already setting his sights on a future filled with purpose. With a passion for education and a deep desire to help others, Joel dreams of becoming a medical doctor — a goal he says is driven by his wish to make a real difference in people’s lives. Despite the challenges faced by many young students in South Sudan, Joel remains focused and optimistic about his journey. His story serves as an inspiration to many other youths who believe that determination and hard work can turn dreams into reality.
